Project Sweet Home

On behalf of Manulife Investment Management Timber and Agriculture (MIMTA), LandVest is pleased to announce Project Sweet Home, a collection of high-quality southern pine plantations located in central Alabama. Totaling 72,280± GIS acres, the Sweet Home portfolio is made up of three sale units: Clairmont Springs (33,694± acres), Rendalia (25,213± acres), and Magnolia (13,373± acres), each with a long history of professional forest management. Two of the three units have been managed by MIMTA for over two decades, all with a strong focus on site productivity and silvicultural improvement. The properties are located in robust and competitive wood baskets and supported by a skilled logging force.

Project Sweet Home is being offered for sale through a single-stage, sealed-bid sale process where bidders may bid on the portfolio, individual units, or any combination of units. The data room will open on January 17th with bids due on March 8th. Interested parties are invited to apply for data room access by returning a signed confidentiality agreement, found below under "Property Documents".
