Constructed 1910-1911, Juniper Lodge was designed by noted architect Ernest Machado and has many characteristics of a Craftsman-style Bungalow including deep roof overhang with exposed rafter heads, second-story window bays supported by curved brackets, front and back eyebrow dormers, and original diamond paned leaded French windows. The current owners have thoroughly restored the home and brought it back to its original glory including restoring the homes original exterior color scheme, a mix of green and blue blending to the color of the Juniper plant for which the lodge was named. The house has 4 bedrooms, 3 of which are en-suite, a large kitchen and butler’s pantry, dining room with fireplace, sunroom, and a grand living room with an arched beamed ceiling, huge stone fireplace and a large window designed to frame Mt. Chocorua.
