The sale could not have been smoother. The property looked great with your staging talents and excellent recommendation for the painter. I enjoyed working with you and would certainly refer you to anyone who is selling or buying without reservation.”
I was so fortunate to have Amy by my side as I went through the process of getting my condo on the market. She was amazingly well prepared when it came to pricing, and kept a close eye on the fast-moving market of similar properties in the area to make sure we stayed on track. In the face of an extremely tight schedule to get the place ready for showing, she took all of my objectives into account and delivered an offer to me that was all I was hoping for. Along the way, she provided me with a huge amount of logistical support (she has an amazing network!). As I got my place ready for sale on an extremely accelerated schedule, she helped me prioritize and really dug in on making sure that every aspect of my property was presented in a way that ensured a successful transaction in every respect. Amy dug into the quirky details of my property, made sure she understood every nuance and collaborated positively with me and the buyers to address some of the unique aspects involved. All in all, I found Amy's dedication unflagging and her approach to making all the pieces fit together invaluable.
Thank you for getting this deal closed and for passing along the electrician's contact information. Your high-touch (but in the most appropriate way) and super-efficient communication and involvement every step of the way was extremely helpful in moving this large surprisingly complex transaction through smoothly. I would love to refer a few brokers to the Amy Donovan School of Professional and Polished Real Estate Brokerage for training. Absent that, we will look for opportunities to make referrals. You are a pleasure to work with and I expect that we may have other opportunities to do so in the future.
Working with Amy was a fantastic experience! She was responsive, thoughtful, a good listener, compassionate, and very knowledgable and professional. She helped me with all facets of selling my condo (she even suggested colors to paint my pre-sale condo!) and buying a new condo over a period of about 7 months. Amy was particularly impressive during some of the more challenging times of setting an asking price, negotiating with buyers, putting together offers, and negotiating with sellers. She would offer her opinions, backed up with data and experience, while being very respectful of my intuitions. She was also very supportive and understanding during some difficult moments, such as on the occasion our offer wasn't accepted or when a condo that I had my heart set on didn't meet inspection. When it comes to the bottom line, Amy helped me to get a well-over-asking offer for my condo and on the buying side, a very well-priced pre-market opportunity. In sum, I very much enjoyed working with Amy during both the selling an buying processes and I couldn't recommend her more!
Amy and I looked at quite a few condos before I was ready to make the decision to make an offer on the "right" one. She also went to open houses that I was unable to attend to get the first look at a property. She is a true professional who went the "extra mile" to be sure I was well-informed during the purchase process. She is responsive and readily available when needed. I would highly recommend Amy as a broker.
Amy went above and beyond in preparing our condo for listing and then following the transaction through from beginning to end. Even though I am high maintenance, she was very patient and accommodating. We moved out of state before the home was listed so Amy handled extra tasks and details on our behalf. She consulted us often and kept us informed every step of the way. We were very pleased with the speed of the sale and extremely satisfied with the final result. Amy was terrific!
Amy was a pleasure to work with. Her knowledge of Boston neighborhoods and the real estate market in Boston is second to none! She listened to what I wanted and provided a short list of options to get us started. She is very thoughtful and process-oriented with a respect to time and efficiency. We were able to zero in on a great option and meet our time crunch. She gets it!
Amy is a great real estate agent. She is very knowledgeable about the local market and so we knew we were getting a fair deal. She is a pleasure a work with, and very prompt and responsive through the entire process.
Amy was wonderful to work with. Although we took our time in finding a house, she never forgot about us. She was always looking for exactly what we wanted. When she found our dream home (at the right price!), she made us very comfortable during the offer/mortgage process... even dealing with 8 pm phone calls/texts! Would be happy work with Amy again and recommend her to family and friends
Amy helped me search for apartments in Boston when I relocated to the city in 2016. She was wonderful at arranging showings, especially given my tight schedule, and worked relentlessly to find me great places to see. Her professionalism and friendly demeanor were so appreciated. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for real estate in Boston.
Amy Donovan was extremely helpful to me in getting my studio with sleeping alcove in Charles River Park successfully rented in lightning quick timeframe to an excellent tenant. Her flexibility really "made things work." She truly went out of her way to help me and the potential tenant (in town for just several days from the West Coast to find a place to live) meet and get the lease signed and first check and security deposit exchanged. This meant a lot to both parties. Her caring ways and expert photography skills during the photo shoot produced the prize shot which attracted many inquiries. While we were signing the lease, Amy was getting many more requests to see my condo. I recommend this agent with no reservations.
